meteoblue is committed to research and development. We actively seek research collaborations where we can contribute our operational forecast data and develop new services. We also develop our own services through a team of dedicated programmers.
Basel University and meteoblue closely collaborate scientifically, and there is a close collaboration with NOAA and NCEP scientists and engineers.
The basis for our services are numerical mesoscale models (NMM), which we operate at resolutions from 18 down to 3 km, depending on the requirements of the clients.
