meteoblue p☼int is a local forecast for any location in the world, using the combination of global and meteoblue weather models, and adjusting them to the exact location and altitude of the desired location. meteoblue p☼int consist of:

GLOS - the Global LOcation Search

Select the place for which you need a forecast - globally, easily, quickly:

  1. Text search: more than 8 million places globally, for which a forecast is available.

  2. Post code search: for European and some American countries.

  3. Coordinate search: with desired latitude and longitude, you get a forecast for any place on earth.

  4. Favorite search: with locations selected and stored by each user - available for registered users.

p☼int forecast are calculated using automated weather models of high quality, which have been thoroughly tested (see R&D). Nevertheless, there may be differences to the actual observations due to short-term or microclimatic weather developments.

Picto-cast

Picto-cast shows the local weather forecast pictogram symbols (see graphics) and colour tables.

Pictograms show sunshine , clouds, precipitation type and intensity and thunderstorms for the time period referenced in the forecast. For detailed symbol descriptions, see Pictograms. 

Tables show temperature, winds and other numeric values of interest, which can not be presented with symbols.

SP☼T™ - the local overview (where is it raining?)

meteoblue SP☼T is a local "region" overview: it gives you like a birds eye on the weather for your place.
SP☼T diagrams show weather events in the area surrounding the selected location, like precipitation in rainN☼W. The size of the area covered by SP☼T is shown in the legend. SP☼T colours levels show the intensity of the events, e.g. precipitation, cloud cover, wind, frost or others.
With SP☼T, you can distinguish a thunderstorm (local) from a rainfront (whole area), or a band of showers (mixed distribution). If you know the area, you will see the effect of topography, wind direction or other weather developments in your SP☼T diagram.
Thereby you can SP☼T what is expected in the neighbourhood, what risks are approaching, and how regional patterns develop.
