| Temperature maps show the distribution (fields) of temperatures over a wider area. meteoblue uses a palette of predetermined (fixed) colours to distinguish the different zones and to maintain a reference base for the user. The daily temperature maps generally include maximum, minimum or average temperatures. The maxima and minima are always valid for the date indicated. Larger maps, which cover more than one time zone, use the time zone supplied in the legend. Therefore, some temperature maxima or minima can differ from the local forecasts for a specific time zone, if the time zone of the map boundaries differs from the one used for the map calculation, especially if the time zones are largely different. Temperature maps can also be elaborated for every forecast hour. For the local weather, we suggest to use local maps or the p☼int forecasts. |
