Pictomaps show the prevailing regional weather conditions through symbols (pictograms).

Pictograms aggregate all weather events regarding cloudiness, precipitation amount and type and sunshine intensity into 1 symbol, which represents the prevailing conditions in the surrounding region (see examples displayed).

Pictomaps maps can be combined with temperature maps (colour scale). See the legend of each map for details.
