mete☼4me forecasts include the following important weather parameters
:
- Temperature
- Precipitation intensity
- Probability of precipitation (PoP)
- Cloud cover
- Wind direction and velocity
- Wind gusts
- Weather symbols
mete☼4me displays forecasts on a map, as weekly or daily overviews (with
rainSPOT), and in
meteograms that include the low, middle, and high cloud layers.
Users can define forecast locations by three methods:
- Selecting from more than five million predefined places on six continents;
- Defining a position on a map;
- The iPhone's built-in Locate Me feature.
Both Locate Me and defining a position work worldwide on land and sea.
meteo4me data communication is designed to minimize network usage. meteo4me can display high quality informative forecasts even when your network connection is not optimal.
Data are temporarily stored on your iPhone and automatically updated at certain intervals. To manually update your forecast data whenever you want, simply shake your iPhone.
Your mete☼4me app is supplied with meteoblue weather forecast data. These forecasts are computed with high-efficiency modelling and computing procedures, which produce a certain forecast volume with a fifth of the computing resources needed by the conventional modelling of other weather services.
