Location attributes

All Location have coordinates, altitude and timezone attributes. In addition, alias names, place type, administrative areas and other attributes are available.

More descriptions will be added, and can be found under Standards.

featID

Each location of the database of meteoblue has a unique featID. You can find the featID in the URL of the forecast for each location.
Example:
/de_DE/wetter/vorhersage/woche/basel_ch_376
Basel featID = 376

Location updates

meteoblue updates place information continuously, to improve the quality of the location based services.

If you have comments and suggestions, mail to our contact center, and send your suggestion with the message title: LOCATION-UPDATE "location name".
