meteoblue releases p☼intAIRmail, a daily mail service with a detailed 6-day weather forecast for the desired place and the air above. The service is available world-wide. p☼intAIRmail supplies a detailed hourly forecast for the next 6 days, a view of the atmosphere layers up to 5 km and 4 tephigrams for up to 12 km.

This service is useful for flight planning, inversion monitoring, weather predictions and documentation. The details can be found under p☼int AIRmail.

p☼intSOLAR

meteoblue generates power forecasts for photovoltaic systems. These forecasts are available for single systems and for PV-ensembles that include thousands of generators. The forecasts are especially important to help integrating photovoltaic into modern grid-management. meteoblue has developed a model to forecast solar electricity. generation, consisting of a combination of precise weather forecast and solar system simulation. These solar power forecast will be brought to the European markets as p☼intSOLAR.

meteoblue is a workshop partner of " 2 Degrees – Weather, Humans and Their Climates”, the Big Exhibition on the Azores High, Rainmakers and Glacier Melting, in Basel, Switzerland.
The exhibition takes a multilayered and surprising look at the fascinating topics of weather and climate. What makes weather? How does climate work? Visitors to the Exhibition will also gain insights into the questions studied by climate researchers both today and in the past.
meteoblue offers workshops on weather modelling for schools and companies, to complement the exhibition experience with hands-on training on weather modelling and forecasting. The workshops are available in German, English and French. For details, consult the exhibition website.

mete☼Scool

Today, meteoblue officially launches mete☼Scool, a weather visualisation and learning platform. mete☼Scool is a free offer for everybody who wants to better understand the weather and its influence on the earth and human activities, using visualisation models of weather and some of the influencing processes. 
mete☼Scool shows where weather occurs ("Earth"), how "Weather" originates and in which form ("Large Scale weather"), what the weather is like in different continents (Climate zones) and how it influences "Vegetation". mete☼Scool also includes Case studies and takes your Suggestions. mete☼Scool is initially available in English and German. We hope you enjoy and really find that mete☼ 's cool, and look forward to your feedback.

meteoblue has added new model routines which now update the temperatures for mountains in Europe in spacings of less than 1 Kilometer. Local temperature forecast should now be 0.5°C more precise than before on average, and could improve by 2-3°C in the mountains and near lake shores. Precipitation forecasts are now updated every hour over Central Europe, further increasing precision.
