The new climate meteogram shows the expected weather compared to the previous 20 or more years: for every place, under "Forecast" and "Climate".

You can now plan for the next 14 days - with the meteogram 14 days - free of charge, for any place of the world: after selecting a location, click on "14 days".   The meteogram 14-days shows the weather forecast for the next 14 days period, with a weather symbol, and a range of maximum and minimum temperatures, precipitation quantities and probabilities for each day. To have  direct access to this diagram, you can save the URL in your browser favourites.

meteoblue adds trajectories and Cross-sections to the AIR services: you can now "fly away" from one place with a trajectory and "cut" through 2000 km of weather from surface to 5 km altitude with a Cross-sections - with 2 clicks.

meteoblue presents gridS?LAR for grid operators together with p?intSOLAR forecasts for individual systems at the biggest solar fair worldwide in cooperation with SolarServer. meteoblue experts will provide detailed information on precision, applications and configuration of PV yield forecasts and their contribution to grid stability, Wednesday and Thursday at 4 PM, and Thursday and Friday at 10 AM; Hall B3, Booth # 111 INTERSOLAR in Munich.

meteoblue releases p?intAIRmail, a daily mail service with a detailed 6-day weather forecast for the desired place and the air above. The service is available world-wide. p?intAIRmail supplies a detailed hourly forecast for the next 6 days, a view of the atmosphere layers up to 5 km and 4 tephigrams for up to 12 km.
This service is useful for flight planning, inversion monitoring, weather predictions and documentation. The details can be found under p?int AIRmail.

meteoblue generates power forecasts for photovoltaic systems. These forecasts are available for single systems and for PV-ensembles that include thousands of generators. The forecasts are especially important to help integrating photovoltaic into modern grid-management. meteoblue has developed a model to forecast solar electricity. generation, consisting of a combination of precise weather forecast and solar system simulation. These solar power forecast will be brought to the European markets as p?intSOLAR.

meteoblue is a workshop partner of " 2 Degrees – Weather, Humans and Their Climates”, the Big Exhibition on the Azores High, Rainmakers and Glacier Melting, in Basel, Switzerland.The exhibition takes a multilayered and surprising look at the fascinating topics of weather and climate. What makes weather? How does climate work? Visitors to the Exhibition will also gain insights into the questions studied by climate researchers both today and in the past. meteoblue offers workshops on weather modelling for schools and companies, to complement the exhibition experience with hands-on training on weather modelling and forecasting. Today, meteoblue officially launches mete?Scool, a weather visualisation and learning platform. mete?Scool is a free offer for everybody who wants to better understand the weather and its influence on the earth and human activities, using visualisation models of weather and some of the influencing processes.  mete?Scool shows where weather occurs ("Earth"), how "Weather" originates and in which form ("Large Scale weather"), what the weather is like in different continents (Climate zones) and how it influences "Vegetation". mete?Scool also includes Case studies and takes your Suggestions. mete?Scool is initially available in English and German. meteoblue has added new model routines which now update the temperatures for mountains in Europe in spacings of less than 1 Kilometer. Local temperature forecast should now be 0.5°C more precise than before on average, and could improve by 2-3°C in the mountains and near lake shores. Today, meteoblue and Ergon launched mete?4me, a special weather application for the iPhone. mete?4me provides hourly weather forecasts for six days at any location on earth. mete?4me is the first weather application that shows the weather forecast worldwide in 4 dimensions: at individual locations, on maps, animated through time, and vertically including the low, medium and high cloud layers. mete?4me always puts the user in the center: five million pre-defined places on six continents are available for selection, including places in remote areas. In addition, users can define their own forecast locations, anywhere on earth. mete?4me forecasts have the same consistently high quality at any location - not just at the nearest weather station.
mete?4me  makes an active contribution for the conservation of natural resources. The entire processing chain runs on supercomputing clusters that are operated with 100% renewable energy. rainN?W is a new nowcasting service which shows precipitation for the next 2 and the past 4 hours in steps of 15 minutes. rainN?W  is available for Switzerland, Germany, Benelux, Great Britain and France, for the same areas as p?intNOW on www.meteoblue.com. It can be accessed by subscribing to   p?int+  .For commercial uses,  rainN?W is available through p?intPRO . More information is available on the rainN?W page. rainN?W  brings you the precipitation -  SP?T on.

meteoblue expands p?int+  Today, a 6 to 14-day forecast was added, as well as the "classic" Meteogram_AIR and the new meteograms SNOW and AGRO with hourly detailed weather forecasts. With one order, you now have access to all these diagrams. Current p?int+ users  also have access to all diagrams. More information is available on the p?int+ page. We have upgraded our free website, and you will find new features:1. The main page has more space for displaying the diagrams and maps you are interested in.2. By default, the web site displays a forecast for the location from where you connect to the internet. If you live in a village or small town, this may be a town near where you live, depending on your internet service provider.3. The list of meteoMap links is shorter, emphasizing meteoMaps that your current location. If you want to see meteoMap links for other regions, click on "World".4. Registered users can now store up to 50 favorite locations. Registration continues to be free.5. The web site is faster.6. moreMaps continue to be available; the tables have a new look and give access to the same content as before.7. The flow movies are now accessible from the navigation bar on the left.8. Some features are still being completed, such as the location information, and moreMaps navigation.9.
