p☼int+ high detail forecast worldwide

p☼int+ provides high detail precision forecast diagrams worldwide.
Through p☼int+ you have access to printable pictocast and meteogram images including a 14-day forecast, and Astronomy Seeing Predictions, as well as the "classic" Meteogram_AIR and the new meteograms SNOW and AGRO with hourly detailed weather forecasts.
The pictocast, meteograms,  14-day forecast and Seeing are available for any place in the world which can be selected in p☼int. The availability of the others diagrammes is described under p☼int+.

p☼int+ positioning


p☼int+ is useful for planning leisure activities - such as sports, sailing, mountaineering, stargazing or events - and for professional decision making - e.g. tourism, event organisation, building management, construction, agriculture, road management and astronomy.

p☼int+ shows the weather coming - simply, precisely, worldwide.

point+ Subscription

You can subscribe to p☼int+ for 10, 30, 90 or 180 days. Days are counted starting the day after the subscription. For each day, you get 50 diagrams views (credits) per day. Each p☼int+ subscription grants a defined number of credits, which correspond to diagrams views per day. For example, 50 credits allow 1 view for 50 places, 2 views for 25 places, 5 views for 10 places, or other combination adding up to 50 views. You can also subscribe to BASE and SKY in parallel, or to twice to the same service, to increase your number of views per day. If you order more than 1 p☼int+ subscription, credits will be added.

p☼int+ diagrams are accessible for any place selectable in p☼int, after ordering a subscription (see below) and login.

p☼int+ use description



You can view, print and store p☼int+ pictocast_IMG_5d and meteogram images - and send them to others, or archive them so you can always go back and check how good the forecast was. To print an image, save the image first: (right-) click on the diagram, choose a file name and directory, and save it. The standard diagram format is .png. Then open the image with an image program, and print.

Each p☼int+ subscription grants a defined number of credits per day. One credit corresponds to one diagram view. Clicking on a diagram tab (e.g. Meteogram 6d, Seeing 5d, Pictocast_IMG_6d) or on  "Refresh" counts as 1 view. Clicks on Daily Forecast and Detailed forecast are not counted - they are part of the "free" p☼int offer.  

p☼int+ diagrams are updated at least 2 times a day. Update timings are displayed in the diagram headers. The period since the last update of the image is indicated above the diagram - in hours, minutes and seconds. If you have not updated the same image for more than 6 hours, you will be advised to refresh the diagram, to see the most up-to-date forecast. For more update explanations, see hours and dates.

To order your p☼int+ subscription, please login (If you have not registered yet, please register here). In p☼int, click on p☼int+. In the p☼int+ order page, select a version and subscription period, and pay. You will be able to see p☼int+ diagrams immediately after completion of payment.
