weather maps

meteoblue weather maps provide an instant overview of the weather forecast over entire regions, countries and continents - and the world. On the maps, you can see one or several parameters displayed for an hour, a day, a date or an entire period.
Maps are generated daily for the following parameters:

Temperature: Maxima, Minima, Averages and hourly maps.
Precipitation: Amount, type and probability maps
Clouds: Distribution and density
Wind: Speed, direction and maxima - all at one glance
Pressure: Distribution, curves and hourly movement
Weather: Symbols showing the weather in regional overview
CAPE: CAPE, Lifted Index, Helicity and Storm Motion - specialist maps
Vorticity: Relative vorticity and air movements - for specialists
Others: Relative humidity, solar radiation, snowfall, heat flux and others

meteoMaps: forecast range

The "meteoMap" weather maps are available for 1 to 7 days.

The forecast for 8-14 days is shown in diagrams  and not in maps, because of the  increasing variability ranges for all parameters (e.g. temperature, precipitationprobability), since the forecast is increasingly uncertain beyond 7 days. This uncertainty can not be represented on a map.

In addition, the changes 8-14 days ahead are modelled in less resolution and develop over larger areas, so that local differences disappear: An analysis of meteograms in 2 to 4 distant locations will give more insight into the possible developments and their uncertainty than a map.
