Posted on by Oleksandra (meteoblue)

To celebrate the festive season and say thank you to our global community of weather enthusiasts and professionals, meteoblue is offering a special Christmas gift: free access to all point+ features for everyone.

From 24 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, all users will be able to explore the full range of meteoblue point+ premium tools and high-precision weather content – completely free of charge.

Discover the full power of point+

point+ unlocks advanced weather information for any location worldwide, combining proprietary meteoblue high-resolution models with data from national weather services. During this free access period, users can explore an extensive portfolio of professional tools designed for aviation, astronomy, agriculture, outdoor activities and sports, tourism, event planning and more.

What you can explore with point+

  • Advanced weather maps & models: Access a wide range of professional maps, including snow depth, soil moisture, atmospheric stability, CAT, air quality and more. Choose from 30+ global and regional models, customise time steps and zoom levels, and use interactive cross-sections to visualise atmospheric conditions along a chosen route.
  • Snow, ski & winter weather tools: The Meteogram Snow shows snowfall, snow depth and temperature profiles at different altitudes. Dedicated ski weather pages summarise resort-specific conditions and forecasts for easy trip planning.
  • Aviation-grade atmospheric forecasts: Explore thermal forecasts, trajectories, Stueve and Sounding Diagrams and the unique Meteogram Air. Combined with Cross-Sections and wind streams, these tools support flight planning for pilots, balloonists and soaring enthusiasts.
  • Astronomy Seeing forecasts: Identify the best nights for stargazing with Astronomy Seeing. The forecasts assess atmospheric stability, turbulence and cloud cover – useful for both amateur and professional observations.
  • Satellite & radar history: Analyse minute-by-minute satellite and radar animations worldwide, with seamless historical data available back to December 2019.

Enjoy point+ this Christmas

Whether you are analysing atmospheric layers, planning a winter adventure, preparing a flight, or simply exploring the beauty and complexity of the weather, this Christmas is the perfect opportunity to experience meteoblue point+ in full.

Free point+ access for everyone: 24 December 2025 – 1 January 2026
