IMPACTS: Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility to as low as 1/2 mile at times in valleys and channels open to the northeast. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and result in isolated power outages.
Additional Details: The strongest gusts are expected at higher elevations, but will occasionally reach the valley floor. When these gusts do come dangerous wind chills and blowing and drifting snow is still expected.
