The MSM5 model covers mainly Japan, as well as the surrounding areas of the Korea peninsula and parts of Eastern China. This high-resolution model is provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) with a spatial resolution of 5 km x 5 km and delivers forecasts for up to 78 hours. It is already integrated into our top accuracy mLM forecast for these areas. You can check out the model in our MultiModel and of course the enhanced forecast for these areas on our website.
The model will also soon be available through our weather maps and historic data offer for our business customers.
