meteoblue Christmas Party 2023

This year’s Christmas party was like weather forecasts: a bit different than planned, but still a fantastic unforgettable event.

In the Swiss city of Basel, where meteoblue is based, the Christmas trees are shining, gingerbread and hot wine are served on the Christmas market, and Secret Santa is preparing Christmas gifts. This also means it is time for our annual Christmas party.

Traditionally, our party takes place in our office, where we gather with all the employees and host an entertainment programme and typical Swiss food: Raclette. With several kilograms of chees and various side dishes, everybody was well served - until the raclettes and light show blew one of our fuses. Two task teams quickly restored the necessary power, so everybody got their fill and could enjoy the beauty of the dinner highlight: the "blue-cake"! Then came the time to enjoy our yearly highlights photo show, including trade fairs, customer visits, our meteoblue day and swimming in the (warm and cold) Rhine River. After Secret Santa distributed everyone's (surprise) presents, the party started with dancing, singing, and talking late into the night.

It was a fantastic party after a year of rewarding accomplishments, and we are very motivated to turn next year's challenges into satisfaction for our valuable customers and engaged team.
