- Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop and move east across the region this afternoon and evening, then again on Monday. Heavy rainfall can be expected in some of the storms with average totals between 2 and 4 inches. Training of storms could lead to isolated higher totals of at least 6 inches or more. This rainfall is expected across areas remain saturated from previous rains over the 1 to 2 weeks, and additional rainfall will likely runoff, creating a potential flood threat.
