WHEN: Until 730 PM CDT.

IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 417 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Galveston Causeway, Galveston Island West End, Texas City, La Marque, Hitchcock, Galveston Pier 21, Bayou Vista, Jamaica Beach, Tiki Island, Offatts Bayou, Scholes Field, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Galveston Island East End, The Strand, Pelican Island, Galveston Pleasure Pier, Galveston State Park, Port Bolivar and San Luis Pass.
