We are proud to announce a partnership with the French Réseau d'Observation Météo du Massif Alpin (ROMMA). ROMMA develops and maintains the biggest meteorological station network in the French Alps. Their website collects and visualizes all station data in real time and allows access to historical time-series. meteoblue incorporates the ROMMA real-time observations every 10 minutes in order to improve nowcasting and 7-day forecasts in the French Alps. Furthermore, our weather maps, which currently include over 200’000 weather stations will soon display the ROMMA stations
We encourage users of private weather stations to share their data with ROMMA, which helps improve our forecast accuracy for these regions.
