This new breakthrough tool offers an unparalleled level of detail and accuracy, revolutionising the way we understand and interact with wind patterns in urban environments. In 2023, we released our unique heat maps showing high-resolution temperature information for your city. The heat map is now complemented by another important weather variable to understand hyper-local weather conditions within a city: Wind.
Our 2x2 meter urban wind map leverages cutting-edge technology to deliver unprecedented resolution. You can now access wind data in such detail that surpasses all existing maps, providing a clearer, more precise view of air movements within the city. The particle animation visualisation brings this data to life, enabling users to track wind flow visually. Try it out – when you zoom all the way in, you can almost feel the wind in your hair! You can see the wind patterns within the city for the past 3 days, as well as a forecast for the next 3 days. The interface also gives you immediate access to the surrounding webcams to see live weather for the area of interest.
