Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. At 311 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Indialantic, moving east at 25 knots. Additional strong storms will push offshore of Brevard and Indian River counties this afternoon.
