At 601 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 25 nm east of Triumph Reef, moving northeast at 35 knots.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

    • Rainfall amounts of 6 to 12 inches with isolated amounts up to 18 inches have fallen over South Florida since Tuesday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 4 to 8 inches are still forecast to fall over South Florida this evening evening with locally higher amounts over 10 inches possible. Additional amounts in the range of 2-4 inches could also be possible on Friday. These additional rainfall amounts will be capable of producing additional flooding on top of current flooding going across portions of South Florida.
