Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Monday and Tuesday. Areas likely to be affected include the South West forecast district and parts of the Lower West, South Coastal and Great Southern forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS with peak gusts of up to 100 km/h are possible across the South West Capes by early Monday evening, before extending further eastwards and northwards throughout the evening and overnight. This is the first significant cold front of the year. Conditions will ease by very early Tuesday morning. Locations which may be affected include Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Augusta, Dunsborough and Walpole.
