RAIN AND FREEZING RAIN CONTINUES ACROSS EASTERN MINNESOTA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN THIS MORNING
- Temperatures early this morning continue to hover a degree or two on either side of freezing. Surface observations have been bouncing between rain and unknown precip/freezing rain. Precipitation has mostly ended across western Minnesota, but dense fog and freezing fog is expected to continue through much of the morning. Additional ice accumulations of a light glaze up to a tenth of an inch are possible for eastern Minnesota with a tenth to two tenths of an inch for western Wisconsin. Even as rain comes to an end later this morning, roads and untreated surfaces will remain slippery.
