IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

- Abundant moisture has moved into the region and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will redevelop Wednesday afternoon and continue into the overnight hours. Many areas west of the Rio Grande have received a half inch up to 2 inches of rainfall over recent days, so any additional rainfall could lead to flash flooding. Localized storm amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with the strongest storms and where storms redevelop over the same area.
