IMPACTS: At 24.0 feet, Several homes and businesses flooded, mostly on north sides of Solomon, Safford, and Thatcher. Bridges may be overtopped.

- At 1:30 PM MST Tuesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet.
- Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 23.5 feet late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
- A 23.5 feet crest exceeds the previous historical high crest of 20.8 feet on 10/02/1983.

Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are possible across most valley locations in Southeast Arizona, with 2 to 4 inches possible across the Sky Islands and White Mountains. Locally heavier amounts are possible under the stronger thunderstorms, especially for the White Mountains.
