Maximum temperatures in the high thirties to low forties over northern Victoria and in the mid twenties to mid thirties over southern Victoria today, decreasing significantly throughout on Sunday. Overnight minimum temperatures generally in the low to mid teens Saturday night, decreasing to between five and ten degrees in most areas for Sunday night. Severe to extreme heatwave conditions will ease by Sunday as a milder southwest to southerly flow extends across the state. Heatwave conditions have already eased to low over West and South Gippsland, and will ease further. Locations likely to be impacted include Albury-Wodonga, Bright, Corryong, Mildura, Mansfield, Omeo, Wangaratta and Yarrawonga.
