ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Camden, Winnsboro, Lake Wateree Dam, Elgin, Longtown, Lugoff, Lake Carolina, Goodale State Park, Fairfield County Airport, Cassatt, Blythewood, Ridgeway, Pine Grove Fire Station, Smallwood, North Towne Square Shopping Center, Dekalb, Woodward Airfield, Winnsboro Mills and North Central High School.
- This includes the following highways, Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 88 and 102. Interstate 77 between mile markers 26 and 42.
