WHERE: Red Chute Bayou at Sligo.

WHEN: Until further notice.

IMPACTS: At 33.0 feet, Overflow will begin to affect the small mobile home park in the Sligo community just south of the Sligo-Caplis highway. Also expect flooding of farmland in southern Bossier Parish between Red Chute Bayou and the Flat River. Livestock should be moved to higher ground.

- At 10:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 32.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 29.0 feet.
- Recent Activity: The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:15 AM CDT Saturday was 32.8 feet.
- Forecast: The bayou has already crested and is expected to slowly fall through early next week and fall below flood stage late Monday or Tuesday.
- Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
- Flood History: This crest compares to a previous crest of 32.2 feet on 02/01/1994.

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
