At 900 AM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate rises in water levels from heavy rain across the advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible.

If you live or travel near or along Middle Fork of the Koyukuk River and its tributaries, stay alert and be prepared to take action. As of 8:00 am Monday, Alaska DOT reports a landslide has closed the Dalton Highway around mile marker 230 about 55 miles north of Coldfoot. Check 511.alaska.gov or call 5 1 1 for the latest travel information.

For Middle Fork of the Koyukuk River at Wiseman: At 8:00am Monday the stage was 10.9 feet. Flood Stage is 11.5 feet. Forecast: A crest around 11.7 feet is expected around 4:00pm Monday. Typically the Koyukuk River at Wiseman crests 6 to 8 hours after Slate Creek crests.
