An upper-level low pressure system will bring the risk for isolated thunderstorms across the eastern Santa Barbara Channel and the inner waters out to Santa Cruz Island into this evening. Any thunderstorm that forms will drift from the mainland and capable of producing locally gusty and erratic winds, rough seas, dangerous cloud to surface lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, and waterspouts. Mariners should seek safe harbor when thunderstorms are imminent. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite marine weather source for the latest details.
