Severe Winds The Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds): Today: Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro. Tomorrow (15 July): Ilocos Region, Abra, Apayao, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands. Thursday (16 July): Ilocos Region, Abra, Apayao, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands. HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 3.0 m: The western and northern seaboards of Babuyan Islands; the northwestern seaboard of Pangasinan; the seaboards of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union. Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced of operating ill-equipped vessels. Up to moderate to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.5 m: The remaining seaboard of Pangasinan; the seaboard of Zambales; the northern and western seaboards of Batanes Up to 2.0 m: The western seaboards of Bataan and Batangas; the northwestern seaboard of Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands; the northwestern seaboards of Calamian Islands and Kalayaan Islands; the remaining seaboards of Batanes Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. It is forecast to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by this afternoon or evening.
