- Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop to the west of the area this afternoon and increase in areal coverage and intensity as they move into eastern Oklahoma this evening and continue into the overnight hours. Expect rainfall amounts from 2 to 5 inches to be common, with localized totals from 6 to 7 inches.
