ประเทศไทยตอนบนจะมีฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง และฝนตกหนักบางพื้นที่ โดยจะมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคเหนือและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือก่อน หลังจากนั้นจะส่งผลกระทบกับภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคตะวันออกในระยะถัดไป เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน และประเทศไทย ในขณะที่ยังคงมีลมใต้และลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคตะวันออก และอ่าวไทย ประกอบกับบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบนแล้ว คาดว่าจะเคลื่อนเข้าปกคลุม ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบนในวันนี้ (4 ต.ค.69) สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
