ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The strongest winds of 65 mph will occur over the Otero Mesa and around the Hueco Mountains. Gusts will range from 50 to 60 mph in west El Paso, strongest in the higher elevations along the west slopes of the Franklin Mountains, as well as through Transmountain Pass. Light but widespread blowing dust is also expected.

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
