ภาคใต้ตั้งแต่จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราชลงไป มีฝนตกหนักหลายพื้นที่และมีฝนตกหนักมากบางแห่ง เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือที่พัดปกคลุมอ่าวไทย ภาคใต้ และทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง ประกอบกับมีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณภาคใต้ตอนล่าง ส่วนคลื่นลมบริเวณอ่าวไทยมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร ห่างฝั่งของทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในภาคใต้ระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่มไว้ด้วย ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณอ่าวไทยและทะเลอันดามันเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวังและหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง สำหรับเรือเล็กบริเวณอ่าวไทยควรงดออกจากฝั่ง
