Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is forecast across the Flood Watch area over the next few days. Catchments within the Flood Watch area are wet to saturated following significant rainfall over the last few weeks, with prolonged ongoing flooding occurring in some of the catchments. Forecast rainfall is likely to cause further river and creek rises from Thursday into Friday, with minor to moderate flooding possible. Localised flash flooding is likely within the areas of heaviest rainfall. Further isolation of communities and disruption to transport routes is likely.
