Teton River near Driggs affecting Teton County.

  • Water levels will remain high for one more day on the Teton River before dropping later tonight and throughout the week.

  • WHAT: Minor flooding is occurring.

  • WHERE: Teton River near Driggs.

  • WHEN: Until tomorrow afternoon.

  • IMPACTS: At 4.2 feet, Lowland flooding occurs along the river in the Teton River bottoms from Bates Bridge Sportsman's access down-river to Idaho Highway 33 and further down-river to 1000 North. Some river access boat ramps will be under water. Water may cover a portion of 600 South or North Cedron Road.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 12:00 PM MDT Sunday the stage was 4.2 feet.
    • Recent Activity: The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:00 PM MDT Sunday was 4.2 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to fall below flood stage this afternoon and continue falling throughout the week.
    • Flood stage is 4.2 feet.
    • Flood History: This crest compares to a previous crest of 4.2 feet on 06/28/2009.
