* WHAT...Seas 8 to 10 feet.. * WHERE...Rota, Tinian and Saipan Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 6 PM ChST this evening. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Newly upgraded Typhoon Krosa continues to move away from the region to the north, still inducing stronger southwesterlies across the area today, but winds are likely to diminish soon after once a ridge sets in. Conditions will begin to improve from south to north across the Marianas as TY Krosa and the southwesterly monsoon flow gradually lift north.
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
