Our main job is to provide the best possible weather information. Most of this involves programming and running computers, but sometimes, checking it live is better - and cold! On Herzogenhorn, things were different: the snow fell horizontally, and the clouds were below us. We managed to pin the sunny window 7 days in advance and the cloud levels via our meteogram. The snowy white Black Forest yielded some wonderful pictures, below and above the clouds .
