IMPACTS: As of Saturday, an ice jam has been in place and is impounding water at Kalskag. When this jam breaks, a pulse of water will flow downstream. Potential ice jams and associated high water may cause minor or moderate flooding in Kwethluk as the ice front moves past the village. Generally, water levels have been near normal this breakup season.
