Freezing rain is expected to begin this evening in Meadow Lake then spread eastward through Prince Albert into Nipawin and Hudson Bay overnight. The freezing rain will change to snow overnight or Tuesday morning as a cold front sweeps down from the north. Strong northerly winds behind the cold front will give reduced visibility at times in blowing snow overnight or Tuesday morning.
Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery.
