Areas most at risk are those around the River Ouzel from Leighton Buzzard to Willen, including Clipstone Brook and Water Eaton Brook. Further heavy rainfall and thunderstorms is expected this afternoon and into this evening hours which will keep river levels high for the next few days. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, 24/09/2024.
