- Widespread heavy rainfall over the last week has lead to very saturated ground, excessive runoff, and rising rivers and streams across the area. Another couple rounds of showers and storms are expected this weekend, with widespread moderate to locally heavy rainfall possible through Sunday evening. Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches will be possible, with locally higher amounts leading to both flash flooding and mainstem river flooding concerns.
