WHERE: Northwestern Mesa County in west central Colorado, Central Grand County in east central Utah, This includes the I-70 corridor between Crescent Junction, in Utah, and Grand Junction, in Colorado.

WHEN: Until 1030 PM MDT.

IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 915 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Fruita, Mack, Loma and Redlands.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging currents in a matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
