RENEWED MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE FROM THURSDAY Ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji is forecast to gradually move towards the northwest of the state over the next few days. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is forecast across the Flood Watch area from mid-week, with the heaviest rainfall at this stage likely over the Gulf Country. Catchments within the Flood Watch area are wet to saturated following significant rainfall over the last few weeks, with prolonged ongoing flooding occurring in some catchments. Forecast rainfall is likely to cause renewed river and creek rises from Thursday, with minor to moderate flooding possible. Localised flash flooding is likely within the areas of heaviest rainfall. Further isolation of communities and disruption to transport routes is likely. A Flood Watch is also current for Rivers between Ayr to the Wide Bay Burnett, and adjacent inland catchments.
