IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 642 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, San Antonio, San Antonio Int Airport, Leon Valley, Helotes, Alamo Heights, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, Olmos Park, The Dominion, Leon Springs, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Sea World, Timberwood Park, Castle Hills, Balcones Heights, Hill Country Village, Grey Forest, Fiesta Texas and Scenic Oaks.

Considerable to locally catastrophic flash flooding impacts are likely for portions of the US 90 corridor west of San Antonio, including the southern Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

- Intense rainfall rates and compounding effects from multiple rounds of storms will result in a dangerous flash flooding threat through Thursday. Storm totals of 2 to 6 inches are possible over the Flood Watch area with isolated amounts of 10 to 20 inches possible in the Rio Grande Plains, southern Edwards Plateau, and US 90 corridor.
