- At 1025 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rainfall had moved out of the area, but up to 3 inches of rain occurred during the afternoon and evening hours. Multiple stream gauges indicate rapid rises and standing water remains on multiple roadways. Roadway flooding will likely improve over the next few hours, with stream levels decreasing during the overnight hours.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but little to no additional rainfall is expected.

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph will become west early this morning, with gusts locally as high as 45 to 50 mph at times through about 9 am CST. Winds will then steadily diminish through the late morning and afternoon hours. These strong westerly winds may cause difficulty for high profile vehicles, particularly on north south oriented roads in open areas.
