Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. An anomalously moist environment over Georgia will support high rain rates and increased chances for flash flooding. Widespread rainfall of 1 to 3 inches will be possible with locally higher amounts of 5 inches or more. Urban areas, and areas with poor drainage, will be the most susceptible to flash flooding.
