- Periods of heavy rain are expected today into Tuesday afternoon. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches are expected into Tuesday, with localized totals of 4-6 inches possible in any narrow bands of torrential rainfall that develop. Exact location of these bands is still uncertain, but urban and/or small stream flash flooding are possibilities under any that develop.
