IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is ongoing. Several structures are flooded and some sand bagging operations are continuing. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

- At 820 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding is ongoing from earlier heavy rain. Between 8 and 16 inches of rain had fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Sioux Falls, Sioux Center, Sheldon, Canton, Sibley, Rock Rapids, Beresford, Parker, Harrisburg, Tea, Rock Valley, Hull, Lennox, Sanborn, George, Centerville, Worthing, Larchwood, Inwood and Viborg.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
