The steadiest and heaviest snow is expected this afternoon through tonight where snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will be common. Where any bands of heavier snow develop, snowfall rates could reach 2 to 4 inches per hour for a time. Snow will become lighter by Monday morning and continue for much of the day before ending early Monday evening.
